1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an Amilio account, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your username
• Your email address
• A unique account identifier

You can create an account using your email address or Sign in with Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide information associated with your Apple account according to the permissions and privacy options you select.

Information you add to Amilio

Amilio allows you to save information that helps you remember the people and moments that matter to you. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

• Names of people you add
• Birthdays and other important dates
• Relationship information
• Interests and personal notes
• Reminders
• Wishlists and wishlist items
• Links you choose to add to wishlist items

This information is provided by you and is used to provide Amilio’s core functionality.

Contacts

If you choose to add people from your device contacts, Amilio requests permission to access your contacts.

Contact access is optional. You can also add people manually.

Amilio reads contact names locally on your device so that you can choose whom to add. The full device address book is not uploaded to Amilio. When you select a person to add, the selected contact information needed to create that person in Amilio is saved to your account.

Purchase and subscription information

If you purchase an Amilio Premium subscription, the transaction is processed through Apple’s App Store.

Amilio uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and access to Premium features. Amilio identifies your account to RevenueCat using a unique Amilio user identifier. Amilio does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, contacts, notes, reminders or wishlists as customer attributes.

RevenueCat also processes information necessary to manage subscriptions, such as purchase history, store receipts and entitlement status.

Amilio does not directly collect or store your payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Apple.

2. How we use information

We use information processed through Amilio to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide Amilio’s features and functionality
• Save the people, dates, notes, interests, reminders and wishlists you choose to add
• Manage Premium subscriptions and access
• Provide reminders and notifications
• Maintain the security and reliability of the service
• Respond to support and privacy requests
• Diagnose technical problems and improve Amilio

We do not use information about people you add to Amilio to contact those people on your behalf unless you explicitly choose to use a sharing feature.

3. Contacts and information about other people

Amilio allows you to save information about people you know.

You are responsible for the information you choose to add to Amilio and for ensuring that your use of that information is appropriate and lawful.

Please avoid storing information about other people that is unnecessary or highly sensitive.

4. Notifications

Amilio uses device-local notifications to provide reminders.

Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Amilio does not currently use a remote push-notification provider to send these reminders.

Notification content may contain information such as a person’s name, a date label or a reminder title you created.

You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.

5. Analytics and tracking

Amilio does not currently use third-party product analytics, advertising tracking or crash-reporting tools.

We may introduce privacy-conscious analytics or diagnostic tools in the future to help us understand and improve the product. If this changes the way personal information is processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Third-party service providers

Amilio relies on third-party service providers to operate parts of the service.

Supabase

Supabase provides backend infrastructure, authentication and data storage for Amilio.

Information stored through Supabase may include account and session information, profile information, people you choose to add, dates, notes, reminders, wishlists and related information required to provide Amilio’s functionality.

Apple

Apple provides Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution and processing of in-app subscription purchases.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat helps Amilio manage subscription status and Premium entitlements.

Amilio uses your unique account identifier with RevenueCat, together with subscription-related information necessary to provide Premium access.

These providers process information according to their respective services and privacy practices.

7. Sharing

Amilio may allow you to share certain content using third-party apps.

For example, if you explicitly choose to share a wishlist through WhatsApp, Amilio may prepare the wishlist title and link for sharing. Amilio does not provide WhatsApp with the recipient’s contact information on your behalf.

When you open an external link stored in a wishlist, the destination website or application may receive information normally associated with opening that link. The privacy practices of external services are governed by their own policies.

8. Data storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through Amilio.

Information associated with your account is stored using our backend infrastructure and service providers, including Supabase.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide Amilio and for legitimate operational, security and legal purposes.

Amilio provides functionality that allows users to request deletion of their account.

When you delete your account, information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized as appropriate, subject to information that may need to be retained for legal, security or legitimate operational purposes.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can also:

• Manage contact access through your device settings
• Manage notification permissions through your device settings
• Delete your Amilio account through the app
• Contact us regarding your personal information

11. Children’s privacy

Amilio is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required to independently consent to the processing of personal data in their jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly design Amilio to collect personal information from children who cannot legally provide such consent.

12. International data processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Amilio, our service providers, our data practices or applicable requirements.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be updated.
